Last day of January - Planning to start, Starting to plan

Everything in this life I done, I've copied something here, something there, and put it all together. Saves me the trouble of thinking. Well, maybe I do think a little... a little too much...

Found certain parts of of the space planning proposals from various IDs, and I set off to draw my own 3D drawings. Why don't I ask the IDs to do it? I'm bored most of the time, especially when my missus is not around. (She'll be starting to post on this blog soon enough.)

Anyway, scanned some of my pictures here. The highlight is obviously the kitchen, and the MBR will be posted up next. (Assuming I get bored again :P)

Creation - of the photo albums

Second day of this blog...

I spent some time setting up my photo-bucket account for future use today. And it took me some half an hour to get the slide show on the sidebar up and running. For what its worth, the photos of the original conditions have been put up, with the links below.

My work is really catching up on me, slogging 14 hour days from 7-9. Lets hope I have the energy on the weekends to meet up with the IDs for more discussion.

Creation - of the blog

Today is day one I guess.

After purchasing our new apartment in Tampines, consulting a number of interior design firms, and reading the posts of our fellow Renotalk forum-ers, we've decided to start our own blog to log the creation of our little own home.

As of now, its been 7 design firms and 5 quotations and friends are saying we're crazy to fork out so much time to compare quotes. Well, we've already spent 2 years searching for this place so, hell, why not? You can't expect anything less from people from our professions.

Our first appointment with the Board is in early March; and with a short February coming right up, we'll be moulding our own sanctuary in no time.
